  5. USAGE
  6.  F[inger] [<user_name>][@<host>]
  7.  
  8. DESCRIPTION
  9.  The finger command retrieves  personal information about users of a
  10.  system.  When used by itself, a list of known  users on the current
  11.  system will be displayed. When a user_name is added to the command,
  12.  finger will display information about that particular user.
  13.  
  14.  The same functions  detailed above  may be  performed on some other
  15.  TCP/IP host connected to the network. Just add the "@<host>" to the
  16.  finger command as specified in the usage line above.  To get a list
  17.  of the  users on a  remote  system, enter  "finger"  followed  by a
  18.  <SPACE> and an "@", then the host name.  To get information about a
  19.  remote user, simply insert the user name before the "@".

  23.  f frank          (list info about the local user "frank")
  24.  f @ns9liz        (list the known users at host "ns9liz")
